Taking place on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 (Bourbon & Beyond) and Saturday, September 20th, 2025 (Louder Than Life).
Featuring shopping, food & cocktail specials, barrel rolling contests, bourbon tray carrying contests, a commemorative photo op & more! Activities & live bluegrass music will be on Shelby St. between Market St. & Nanny Goat Strut.

NuLu Business Association, in partnership with the Louisville Mayor’s Office and Danny Wimmer Presents, announce the return of “Bourbon, Brunch & Bluegrass”. Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life festival pregame events showcasing NuLu.
This pre-festival events will feature shopping, food & cocktail specials from NuLu businesses, live Bluegrass music & more!
Bourbon themed activities such as barrel rolling, bourbon tray carrying contests, and a commemorative photo op will take place on Shelby St. between Market St. and Nanny Goat Strut. New this year, stick horse races!
There will also be a free courtesy shuttle out to the festival grounds.
The event is free to attend and was made possible through support from the NuLu Business Association, Louisville Mayor’s Office, and Danny Wimmer Presents along with support from our generous sponsors.
